Q. Our house has stone floors, high ceilings and tons of echo. Are there any ways to inexpensively kill the echo? Scott's Answer
Q. I'm replacing my 12 year old Sony 32" with a flat panel, in the bedroom. We would like to get a wall mount that swivels to the bed and chairs. Do you have any recommendations? Scott's Answer
Q. Can in-wall speakers deliver the same sound quality as floorstanding speakers? And can in-ceiling speakers deliver the same impact as in-wall speakers? Scott's Answer

Sculptural Speakers

Hand crafted in Italy, no two are alike but all sound amazing— and most people never know they are speakers.

These sound sculptures are based upon a new approach to sound diffusion, blended with a strong belief in high quality and functional design. These speakers not only sound amazing, but are obviously unusual, stylish and above all, fun!

Zemi

A sphere shaped ceramic with its own unique aesthetic, Zemi can be either suspended from the ceiling or placed on any convenient surface in its own holder. Zemi uses NAC Sound's patented central ceramic reflex technology, based on a variable section pipe which passes through the sphere, to create a high quality and natural sound with exceptional clarity of image.

With an output of more than 70W and an extension range at low frequencies of 40Hz, it is designed for all types of music, and it offers a perfect load for any amplifier. Zemi fits well into any home, or it can be used in public spaces such as museums, restaurants or shops. It is also perfect for home theatre systems, particularly if coupled with a set of omni directional speakers. The new model Zemi MK represents a further evolution of the Zemi idea.

With its larger 160mm drive unit and its own sub-woofer Woof, Zemi MK is a more powerful model, offering up to 150W output.

Omni

Omni is a ceramic bodied speaker which uses NAC Sound's omni-directional technology with twin speakers and a central hardwood reflector.

Omni is perhaps the most elegant of the NAC Sound range. With its reduced size and a 70W output, it has an excellent sound quality: lifelike, and clean at all frequencies. It is essentially a hi-fi system speaker (preferably with a sub-woofer), and it is also suitable for home theatre, particularly if coupled with a model such as Zemi. Omni is available with a stand as an optional extra.

Kayak

It builds on the technologic research started with NAC sound, designed with Ron Arad, which introduced for the first time the concept of a single body with stereophonic emission.

Kayak is designed to be suspended horizontally between two opposing walls or pillars, or vertically between floor and ceiling. With its output of 60W, it is ideal for use in homes or anywhere with insufficient space for the speakers to be mounted from the ceiling.

There are three elements we focus particularly on in the design of our speakers:
